RepSpark Recap for the 2024 PGA Buying Summit

August 7, 2024

We had a great time at the 2024 PGA Buying Summit.

We walked the floor and saw many more than 100 brands exhibiting at this year’s show, many of which were our customers.

Big shout out to two brands on our platform, Smith & Quinn and Straight Down, which dressed our team at this show.

We also held the official kick-off breakfast for the new Certified Golf Sales Representative Program  that we partnered with the Association of Golf Merchandisers and National Golf Sales Rep Association to create.

Attendance for this breakfast was much higher than we expected.

While we got a chance to talk to many of our customers at the show, we wanted to shine a spotlight on five brands that were able to share how RepSpark has helped their business.

5 RepSpark Customers at the PGA Buying Summit

Turtleson

Turtleson creates fresh takes on classic menswear for every occasion. The brand is deeply rooted in its hometown values, and it combines a passion for style with a commitment to quality, ensuring every product and customer interaction is personal and exceptional.

Turtleson caters to private country clubs, resorts, specialty stores, and direct-to-consumer through their Shopify platform.

This year has been a great one for Turtleson on RepSpark. In the first half of 2024 Turtleson used our Community B2B marketplace to generate over $114,000 in revenue and added over 185 retailers to its buyer list.

Melin

Melin creates hats meant to become an essential part of a person’s everyday style and a personal statement of who they are. The company’s founders grew up in California and were influenced by diverse cultures and activities, from skating and snowboarding to baseball and football, all while being surrounded by iconic music, art, and fashion.

Frustrated with the lack of quality headwear, the brand spent four years researching and sourcing the finest materials to create the most comfortable and premium hats.

One of the main ways that RepSpark has helped Melin is with our simple process of creating items for new accounts.

Johnnie-O

Johnnie-O blends East Coast prep with West Coast casual, and offers a unique take on classic style.

The brand emphasizes high-quality, versatile clothing designed for life's everyday adventures. From polos and button-downs to hybrid shorts, Johnnie-O provides a wardrobe that effortlessly transitions from work to play.

Working with us, Johnnie-O was able to streamline its embroidered product process which led to a 744% growth in average order value and a 102% increase in the number of retailers shopping its product.

TRUE Linkswear

TRUE Linkswear was founded to revolutionize golf footwear by prioritizing comfort, style, and performance.

TRUE Linkswear creates golf footwear that is designed to perform on and off the course. With a focus on natural movement, the brand offers a range of shoes that provide exceptional comfort, durability, and versatility, allowing golfers to enjoy the game and beyond.

TRUE Linkswear first came to us to begin selling its footwear on our platform and had such a good experience that they’ve recently added their hats. They’re excited to begin using our logo customization features as well.

TRUE linkswear credits a big part of their good experience with RepSpark to the ease of use of our platform.

Harlestons

Harlestons describes itself as a menswear brand that offers performance apparel and golf clothes.

Three words the team uses to describe their brand are: distinguished, sophisticated, and sharp.

RepSpark has not only helped Harlestons’ reps have a better gauge of inventory levels but also helped customers know what’s in stock and what isn’t for more informed orders.

“It’s been a great partnership between Harlestons and RepSpark. We really rely on it, it makes my job easier every day. Our reps love it, our customers love it, it’s a no brainer,” said Bryan Thomas, director of sales for Harlestons.
