20+ New Features & Updates This Year, More Coming in 2025
With 2025 right around the corner, we want to look back at 2024 and all the updates and improvements we made to RepSpark.
Our mission has always been to empower brands and retailers with tools that streamline operations, enhance user experience, and drive success.
And, we think the more than 20 new features and updates we released this year that focused on key areas such as integrations, performance optimization, invoicing, and user customization are clear indicators of our commitment to that mission.
So, here’s a rundown of all the new features and updates that we’ve built for our brands and their retailers.
Improvements to Integrations
Shopify
- Mapping Phone Numbers in Drop Ship Forms: We improved order processing efficiency by enabling the syncing of phone numbers between RepSpark and Shopify. This ensures essential contact information is accurately captured, facilitating smoother communication and delivery processes for drop ship orders.
- Updated Country and State Mapping: We refined our country and state mapping functionalities to enhance the management of drop ship orders. This update also reduced errors and improved delivery times by ensuring accurate routing and processing for orders.
- Enabled Line Item Notes: We enhanced communication and customization options by allowing line item notes on orders. Brands can now include specific instructions or personalization requests for each item, offering a more tailored customer experience.
- Pre-Book Products Reporting:
Brands using our Shopify integration can now accurately track pre-book orders and quantities with the new Prebook Sales Details report. This report provides detailed insights into pre-book quantities for each product and can be exported to PDF or Excel for easy sharing and analysis. - Enhanced Filters for Prebook Sales Details Report:
We also added filters to this report, allowing brands to pull data based on order status and select specific date ranges with ease. We also gave brands the ability to filter based on season in order to facilitate more effective sales data analysis.
Apparel Magic
- Checkout Payments Support:
We added Checkout Payments support to Apparel Magic users. Brands using this platform gained the ability to offer a seamless payment experience, allowing buyers to pay for their orders at the time of checkout.
Improvements to Invoicing and Payments Management
- New Invoice PDF Template:
We redesigned our Invoice PDF template to be more user-friendly and informative. The new layout provides clearer transaction details, making it easier for both brands and customers to review and understand invoices. - Download and Share Invoices:
Managing invoices is now more streamlined with the ability to download and share multiple invoices directly from the Invoice List page. You can email invoices to clients or team members by entering multiple email addresses, simplifying collaboration and communication. - Updated Filtering Logic:
Brand admins can now view all store invoices without selecting a customer first, while sales reps can see all invoices associated with their customers. This update streamlines the process of tracking and managing invoices, though the option to select a customer for more specific filtering remains available. - New Invoice Report:
Users can download comprehensive reports of invoices through an intuitive interface. The report can be filtered based on creation date, due date, invoice status, or division, and downloaded as a CSV file for further analysis or record-keeping. - Enhanced Invoice PDF for Payments:
We revamped our Payment Details PDF to provide a clearer and more comprehensive view of transactions. This update facilitates easier review and reconciliation of payment information for both retailers and wholesalers. - Payments Summary Page:
We built a comprehensive Payments Summary page for retailers that provides a detailed overview of all payment transactions made through RepSpark, combining data from Checkout and Invoice Payments. This feature is only available if you have Invoice Payments enabled. - Payments Details Page:
We also added a payments details page that displays all transaction details, payment method information, and linked order/invoice numbers. Users can also download or share this information as a PDF.
Improvements to Performance and User Experience
Page Load
- Products Page Optimization: We significantly optimized the performance of our Products page, achieving a decrease in page load times by over 300% for some brands. This enhancement ensures a faster and more efficient browsing experience, allowing users to access product information quickly.
Microsites
- Microsites Admin Performance:
We also optimized the Microsites Admin pages. Brand admins can now manage their microsites and invite users more efficiently. To improve performance, the legacy Users/Orders tab was deprecated, and admins can use the updated Users and Orders tabs to manage these areas separately. - Shipping Rate Field in Admin Panel: Brands now have greater control and visibility over shipping costs with the addition of the Shipping Rate Field in the Microsites Admin Panel. This feature allows for precise management of shipping rates, enhancing transparency for both brands and customers.
- Support for Multi-Dimension Products:
We added support for multi-dimension products on Microsites. This enhancement ensures that all product options display accurately on the microsite product page, providing customers with a seamless and informative shopping experience.
Improvements to Customization and Communication
Digital Catalog
- Page Number Customization:
Brands can now customize the position of page numbers in their catalogs, choosing between centered or right-justified positions. This feature allows for greater alignment with brand aesthetics and enhances the professional look of catalogs.
Communication
- Restock Notifications:
Customers can sign up to receive restock notifications when a product is back in stock at their specified warehouse. This ensures that notifications are accurate and relevant to their location. Brands can monitor customer demand per warehouse using the Product Restock Report. - Division Names in Email Templates:
We enhanced our email templates by displaying division names in restock notifications sent to customers. This addition strengthens brand identity and provides clearer communication regarding the products customers are interested in.
